Nice to meet you! My name is Esther and I am a 46 year old art teacher from the Netherlands. My students are between 12 and 18 years old. I teach two and three dimensional art, art history and art appreciation. Some of these classes are in English ( CLIL ). I love my job: teaching others gives me much joy!
In late 2010 / early 2011 I was inspired to take up quilting and I have been dabbling with fabrics since then! Since December 2012 quilting has become more and more important….and has become a full blown addiction! 🙂 I started this blog as part of a 2013 New Year’s Resolution, and I am so glad I did! The sheer amount of new friends, the tons of fun and lots of new things to try out…. It is just amazing!!!!

Yes but I totally agree. We are so lucky to have a larger theatre near us with great shows! We go many times, but the kids have to choose themselves if they want to come or not. They HAVE to go to the theatre at least once, but they can also choose to go to a different venue like in a clubhouse. We do not subsidize those, they have to pay for that themselves. It is totally up to them. We offer a wide variety of shows: from classical music, ballet to breakdance and stand up comedy and musicals. Some shows we visit with large groups, others with very small groups of about 5. I enjoy all the variety!
